Sorting through the Wampum

 

It takes a long time to gather and sort available shells to accumulate a considerable amount of colorful, usable, thick, quality pieces. Those are rare and hard to get, which makes it even more valuable. As shown we sort through each shell and pick out the shells as best we can that are the same thickness and shape for earring pieces and for stones to put in neckless we take out the biggest ones to be sanded.
